The Seven Deadly Sins Countdown, Day 4!

You are some proud peeps! The winner of Meljean Brook’s haunting DEMON ANGEL is…

Ewoh: I’m proud of my wife for being the amazing, generous and loving mother of our two little girls, the best friend I have ever had and ever will, and being the source of inspiration for our family. She rocked my world the day I met her and has never stopped since.

Congratulations! You know the drill: email me with your postal addy, and I’ll send you the book.

Today’s sin is WRATH. In the Hell on Earth series, the demons of wrath are also called Berserkers, and yeah, they can be a wee bit insane. So, to celebrate madness, today’s book giveaway is…

CT Adams & Cathy Clamp’s USA Today bestselling TOUCH OF MADNESS!

For today’s contest, tell me what really, REALLY pisses you off. Winner to be picked at random some time tomorrow!

    1. Something that really pisses me off is when your driving in a car and I see someone talking on a cell phone while driving. They usually aren’t paying attention to what they are doing. I don’t think you should be on a phone while driving. Had somebody who recently did this and almost sideswiped my car.

    2. One thing that always sets me off is barking dogs. I live next to two “hell hounds”, that bark whenever they are left in the backyard. And do the neighbors care???? Nope.

    3. My pet peeve is a sloooowwww driver in the left lane. With about 15 cars bunched up behind him. Driving the same speed as the guy next to him so nobody can pass on the right. And when you can finally get past him, you see him talking on his cell phone! Arrrrrrgh!

    4. Good question *G* What pisses me off is people driving and talking on their cell phone not watching what they are doing. If you want to be on the cell phone wile driving get an ear piece or use hands free *Watch The Road*

Another thing that pisses me off dumb mail man/woman. I have this one mail man who is very nice and knows what he is doing when it comes to packages he brings them to me if they are to big for the mail box. When he goes on vacation we get this guy who doesn’t care at all shoves the big packages in knowing it doesn’t fit. Like duh if it doesn’t fit don’t shove it you don’t know what is in that package.

      Thanks for letting share *G*

    7. I’d go for willfully ignorant people who intentionally raise their children in the same way. I watched 20/20 the other night with a segment on the Westboro Baptist Church. Gawd that pissed me off. Hateful, evil people whose website is “Godhatesfags.com”. And their children seem to think “fag” just means non-Christian. Crap, I’m getting pissed again just thinking of it.

    8. drivers that dont watch the road  and act like its UR fault, when they nearly hit u

    9. First , dont enter me into this drawing(reading Touch of Madness right now), second what pisses me off the most is when I’m trying to ring out a customer at the register and they are talking on their cell! Most places you go to, you have to ask the customer for a number or some other information….really hard to do when they are talking on the phone and holding up the line!!

    10. Well everything that was said plus rudeness and inconsideration – retired neigbors who constantly start their yardwork at 7 in the morning (I don’t get to sleep til at least 3) – lawn mowers, weed wackers, hedge clippers, leaf blowers etc. Besides the noise pollution,it’s air pollution. I swear one neighbor gets his old gasoline leaf blower out when he sees one leaf. Besides, people need some darn exercise. And let me add people who don’t recycle while I’m at it. Okay I’ll quit now or I could go on forever lol.

    11. Hmmm…It angers me when people call and hang up with out saying anything. They could at least say sorry wrong number! It also angers me when I get a call at work asking about my copier and when I ask them what company they are from they hang up on me.

    12. One thing that REALLY pisses me off is cruel people. I hate seeing people being vicious. I especially hate seeing people being cruel to children, elderly people, animals,or just someone physically weaker in general. I’m normally the most easygoing person, but I won’t sit by and watch someone be abused, ever. So yeah, that pisses me off. That and people that ask “Do you really need that many books?”, because oh yes, I do lol.

    13. People that neglets the security of their children really piss me off. Like those that don’t use car seats for the kids and in some cases the kids are even with their head and arms out of the open window. Or those that drive with a todler or kid on their lap! It’s so irresponsable!

by Julia on November 3rd, 2007 at 11:43 pm

    14. please who are in the left lane poking along. People who park in the handicap spot and are not. People who come to my window and work on a cell phone and tell me to hold on.

by Pamk on November 4th, 2007 at 12:25 am

    15. It really pisses me off when people make fun of other people right in front of them. It’s very rude!

by Terri W. on November 4th, 2007 at 4:20 am

    16. What *REALLY* gets under my skin is the way in which people raise their kids today. Yeah, I’m only 24 and work in a bookstore, but you would not believe some of the stuff we’ve seen. I had a dad who sent his two kids into the kids section, sat them on the bench and told them “Not to move” while he came back to cafe, bought drinks for him and his lady friend and sat there for over and hour until we came across the children in kids and put two and two together. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!! I just *love* watching spoiled children throw fits when they don’t get what they want. We also had one lady who’s little girl spilled hot chocolate over a front end display (ruining several $100’s worth of books) and WALKED AWAY!!!! No apology, no nothing. Or the people who decide to come into the store TWO MINUTES before we close and ask if we can help find them several books.
I mean, I really DO love my job- but when things like this happen, it boggles my mind.
