The Seven Deadly Sins Countdown, Day 5!

May I suggest anger management for those of us who suffer from wrath? :)

The winner of CT Adams & Cathy Clamp’s TOUCH OF MADNESS is…

LorelieLong: I’d go for willfully ignorant people who intentionally raise their children in the same way. I watched 20/20 the other night with a segment on the Westboro Baptist Church. Gawd that pissed me off. Hateful, evil people whose website is “Godhatesfags.com”. And their children seem to think “fag” just means non-Christian. Crap, I’m getting pissed again just thinking of it.

Congratulations! Email me with your postal addy, and I’ll send you the book.

Today’s sin is GREED. Ooh, yummy! And what better way to celebrate greed than to give away a copy of this book?

KERRELYN SPARKS’ HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE VAMPIRE

To enter, tell me what you would happily, ecstatically keep as close to you as Smaug guarded his treasure? Winner to be picked at random tomorrow!

    1. Don’t enter me, Jackie, I already own the book. I will absolutely NOT share my Ghiradelli Intense Dark Toffee Interlude candy bar with anybody, not even you! LOL!

    2. I tend to be a tad bit possessive about my lap top and ebook reader. Makes me fidget to have anyone but me using either one. Hey, the kids have their own computers, so why are they touching mine??? There will be no touching!!

    3. I will not or do not realize I can’t share time when out shopping with others. I’m done when I’m done and if the other person was done first, oh well, they can wait.”MY BAD.” !

    4. Books. No matter how many I have, it’s not enough. I have to have MORE, MORE, MORE!!!

by Caryn T on November 4th, 2007 at 3:35 pm

    5. I would have to agree with Caryn T. I don’t like anyone messing with my books. I would rather buy some one a new copy of a book I want them to read instead of letting them borrow one of mine!

    6. Dont enter me either…..my husband! You’d have to see him to know why

    7. The only two things I’m really greedy with are my books and my shoes. In the past, I let friends borrow both and seldom had them returned in the same condition. Now, if I really think someone will like a book, I buy it for them as a gift. They can buy their own damn shoes lol.

    8. My BOOKS and MUSIC!!
I am obsessively possessive of them- books are art to me and my music is my muse. I once lent a friend several CD’s- never saw ‘em again. And they were EXPENSIVE (shame on me!).
No one is allowed to borrow them, sometimes not even touch them!!!

    9. I too have to go along with the books. I recently lent out 9 books under the urging of a friend for one of her friends who has cancer for goodness sake and I still did it but grudgingly (I didn’t let them know that of course) so how bad is that! I feel guilty because down deep I didn’t want to do it. slapping self silly.

    10. For me, books autographed by a favorite author. I can’t risk them getting damaged or lost. Like many, I love to share books and have lost some, or got others damaged, but now I only lend them to people I trust that will take good care of them and will return them.

    11. I guard my books and CD’s. I have loaned many books in the past and they have never been returned. I even found one in a second hand store that was mine!

    12. My books and computers!! No way, no how am I going to give-up my babies! I love my books…and my computer that holds several thousand books. *L* Yes, I have a problem…and I love it!

      Hugs,

      Maithe

    13. Congratulations LorelieLong.

My Autographed books. Those are my keeper’s and I don’t give any of them away or share them. I love having auto graphed books from my favorite authors. I have a separate shelf for my autographed books  My fiance also I won’t share him at all he is all mines

Count me in this contest please. KERRELYN SPARKS’ HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE VAMPIRE Is on my wish/want list.
