I’m A Comedian, Not A Pundit
Loving Husband emailed me this lovely bit today, about one of Jon Stewart’s guests on The Daily Show. (Excuse me: A Daily Show.) My favorite part is the end:
Kathryn Jean Lopez of The Corner says that “Stewart generally winds up trying to make a joke out of your or your issues” and if you’re a guest on The Daily Show, “[y]ou’re either in downright hostile territory, or you’re pretending to be something you aren’t — a comedian.”
Wait — people who get interviewed on Comedy Central’s Daily Show are expected to be…comedians? And Jon Stewart — a fake-news television show host — tends to make a joke out of the issues? Garsh! Who’d have thunk it?

Jon Stewart for President!
