    Has Anyone Seen My Mind?

Tax Deduction the Younger has been home with me all day. No fever. He’s fine. Can’t go back to pre-K until tomorrow. So I’ve been home, with a bored four-year-old son, all day. And this is my busy time for my day job, when I’m highly stressed as it is. Oh, and then there’s the writing and promotion headaches that are par for the course. All while TDTY has been banging pretty much anything he can get his hands on (argh), wants me to stay with him while he watches Pokemon (whine), wants me to watch him play the mummy game on the computer (shoot me now), and is doing a running narrative at the top of his lungs.

Oh, and he wants juice, and a different TV program, and a snack, and to tell me why something is the way it is, ALL WHEN I’M ON THE PHONE WITH MY AGENT.

    Sigh.

Yes, there’s a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. Why do you ask?

    1. BTW, Borders jumped the gun and Eternal Lover was on the shelves today. I bought one since the one I already have doesn’t have the pretty (& hot) cover. (Pink is nice…but that guy is smokin’!)

Drink the whole bottle yourself, don’t share with TDTY, let him score his own bottle. Hehe!

P.S. It was Five Points Restaurant, I can’t believe I forgot that name. Doh!

    2. RIGHT — Five Points! LOL — good memory, Debi!

Whee, thank you for buying EL! You know that Nathan Kamp, the cover model, is on roughly a gazillion covers, right? Next time you’re in the bookstore, linger in the romance section. Check out the covers. I bet you’ll see him all over the place. (Job security!)

I had two glasses of wine tonight. And I ain’t sorry. **hic**

I am glad that you survived the day at home with TDTY. I know exactly how those four year olds can be.

You definitely deserved the two glasses and I hope that he is all better and ready for school tomorrow.

    4. My girls are all on spring break this week. They went out with their cousins for the day,so I got to catch up on some of my own homework.
