This resonated with me, and I looked it up. It means “God’s flock” or “Follower of God.” And it has other meanings, too, and one of those suddenly clicked, and boom: I have the story.

Oh wow Jaynie! Congrats on such a fantastic win! I have never heard of Adriel before either. A very beautiful obscure name! Maybe this book will make the name more famous! I bet the little boy’s mother will be surprised!
