I **should** be working on HELL 4. That’s due October 1, and while I have the first three chapters and the overall synopsis, I really need to get cracking on it.
I **should** also be working on my charity story for DREAMS & DESIRES, vol. 3, which is due (I think) in early June.
So what am I working on instead? A Jewish paranormal novel. It’s just one of those things that I absolutely have to write, right now. Argh.
Anyone else out there have a very fickle, very insistent Muse?

Instead, there’s this farmer. A very hot farmer. And a pregnant runaway Las Vegas showgirl who crashes her car at his gate one rainy night.
It’s a storyline that came to me while hubby and I were cruising around on the bike this weekend.
Wtf is up with that?

My muse is intolerably fickle… I’m supposed to be revising a werewolf/drug addict novel to send back to my agent and instead I’m writing short stories about superhero’s secretaries and plotting novels about undead policewomen.
