So yesterday, my neighbor calls me. “I have a flower delivery for you,” she says. I pick it up, and lo, it is a GORGEOUS assortment of white flowers — roses and (I think) daisies. And with it is a wonderful card from my ever-amazing crit partner and friend, the fabulous Heather Brewer (author extraordinaire of THE CHRONICLES OF VLADIMIR TOD — EIGHTH GRADE BITES and NINTH GRADE SLAYS). She sent me the flowers to congratulate me on the sale of BLACK & WHITE. (She even tried to get black and white flowers. I guess black roses would have scared the florist…)
