My friend Colleen Gleason has her latest Gardella novel on the shelves, and I already bought my copy and am looking forward to curling up with it, a glass of wine, and a blanket, and reading through the night. I absolutely adore this series — it’s BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER, a la Jane Austen. And so far, all three books have kicked serious ass.

WHEN TWILIGHT BURNS is the fourth book in the Gardella series. Lady Victoria Gardella Grantworth de Lacey is back in London, where she finds a new sort of vampire that is not deterred by sunlight. And hey, she’s getting framed for all the killings going on. And, worst of all, after the events of the ZOMG fabulous third book, she also has to fend off the growing darkness in her soul. Good times!
