Stuff I’ve Learned
It’s Monday, so with the Precious Little Tax Deductions back to school (yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus), I thought I should share some things I’ve learned.
1. Switching to a low-carb, high-protein diet isn’t bad. So far. On day one.
2. My 15-year-old cat’s farts should be bottled and used as weapons.
3. When you’re cooking a turkey, if you’re roasting it, it’s not covered; when you’re baking it, it’s covered.
4. The little pop-up thingie on the turkey? Either it’s broken, or it takes a LONG time to cook a turkey breast.
5. Fellow Reluctant Adult Mark Henry revamped (uh, rezombied) his website — and dang, it’s all sorts of awesome.
6. A cat’s purrs are proof of Darwinism at work.
7. Hell’s Belles kicked off Julie David’s book reviewing career with Associated Content. Whee!
8. When I finally get into Cat and Muse interview-formatting mode, ALL the guests respond with their interview approvals on the same day. (And that’s because they are terrific. I, on the other hand, wait to the last minute and get everything out at the same time. I need me an assistant.)
So how was your Monday?
