New Cat and Muse Interview and Yet More Reviews

A new Cat and Muse interview is live — this one with my coauthor Caitlin Kittredge’s hero from her new series, BLACK LONDON, which debuts with STREET MAGIC on June 2. Come on over and say hello to Jack Winter, one helluva mage.

Second, we have two more reviews of BLACK AND WHITE!

Romantic Times says in its four-star review (I’d link to it, but it would only work for RT subscribers):

This is a fast-paced and compelling take on superheroes from Kessler and Kittredge. Jet and Iridium are fascinating protagonists whose strengths and weaknesses complement each other perfectly. The plot moves along at a fast clip, undeterred by the somewhat complex structure of the book (both Jet and Iridium have their own points of view, and the sections alternate between the past and the present). The conclusion is a little less than satisfying, but one can hope that there will be at least one sequel to flesh out the climactic repercussions.

Oh yeah, there’s a sequel all right. That’s SHADES OF GRAY. But that, as they say, is another story.

Bitten By Books also reviewed BLACK AND WHITE. Full review here.

    My favorite quote?

“Full to the brim with action, emotional resonance, and humor, Black and White has something for everyone. The Icarus Project series sets a new standard for superhero novels, and this reviewer anxiously and avidly awaits the next installment.”

    A new standard. Awesome.
