Contest Winners And Other Stuff
HAPPY BLACK AND WHITE DAY! Everyone, go eat a black & white cookie and buy a copy or two of the new superhero novel by me and Caitlin Kittredge!
Before the winners are announced, a public service announcement: be sure to check out the new Cat and Muse interview between Jezebel and Jet! (No, I didn’t feel too schizophrenic writing that. Why do you ask?)
Okay, and now…the winners:
Winner of the AccessRomance contest:
Karen W.: As much fun as it would probably be to be a supervillianess, my guilty conscience would probably force me to be a kick-butt superheroine instead!

Congratulations, winners! Please email me with your postal address: jax aht jackiekessler daht calm.
Didn’t win? Don’t fret! There’s a new giveaway for BLACK AND WHITE happening today at Deadline Dames! Go! Check it out!
And Still More
Today, of course, isn’t just the release day for BLACK AND WHITE. There a many other terrific books that also hit the shelves today, including:
CRY MERCY by Toni Andrews. My fellow Deadline Dame Toni Andrews celebrates the third book in her Mercy Hollings series. Yay, Toni!!!
CARPE CORPUS by Rachel Caine. Man, I LOVE the Morganville Vampire series. Heck, I love everything Rachel writes. This is book 6 in the series. And I’m getting giddy with the thought of reading it today. (And OMG, it’s currently ranked #87 at B&N. Number eighty-freaking-six. Dude. Go Rachel!!!) Rachel is doing a contest over at her blog — go check it out!
KISS & HELL by Dakota Cassidy. Dakota is fantabulous and funny — just like her books! Go buy the latest from my fellow Leaguer. And don’t blame me when you get stitches in your sides from laughing so much. Dakota is evil. Evil, I say. But you know, in a good way.
CHARMED AND DANGEROUS by Toni McGee Causey. What, you haven’t met Bobbi Faye Sumrall yet? Oh boy, do I have a treat for you! This repackaged edition of BOBBIE FAYE’S VERY (VERY, VERY, VERY) BAD DAY is one of the funniest books I’ve ever read. Seriously funny!
UNDEAD AND UNWELCOME by MaryJanice Davidson. So I thought number 86 was impressive? This latest novel in the Betsy Taylor, Vampire Queen series is currently ranked #28 at B&N. Holy God. Rock on, MJ!
STREET MAGIC by Caitlin Kittredge. What, you thought that just because BLACK AND WHITE is out now, that’s all Caitlin is excited about? Today marks the launch of her new dark fantasy series, Black London. This first book is freaking amazing — she’s like the long-lost lovechild of Gaiman and Lovecraft. Brilliant stuff.
