Stop Everything! Read This!
I’m thrilled — THRILLED — to announce the release of two new books.
First: Diana Rowland’s debut novel, MARK OF THE DEMON, launched this Tuesday. She’s not only my fellow Spectra author — Diana is a terrific person (with terrific shoes), who’s funny, wicked, smart, and insanely talented. If you’re looking for a new urban fantasy, look no further than MARK OF THE DEMON. Mass market paperback, too, so the price point is right.
And now…the one you’ve been waiting for since last year…
HEATHER BREWER’S TENTH GRADE BLEEDS IS ON THE SHELVES!!!
I still remember Heather first telling me about this book she was working on, about a teenage boy vampire. She pictured him clearly in her mind — this 13-year-old kid, picked on by school bullies, not really fitting in anywhere but not a loner, with a smile that reveals a hint of fang. Hey, I remember high school. It sucked, even without the benefit of vampires. The first book in The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, EIGHTH GRADE BITES, was a huge hit, and the second book, NINTH GRADE SLAYS, was an even bigger success. And now, the third book is finally here!
One of the true joys of being a critique partner is getting to read awesome books way, way, way before anyone else. And I can honestly tell you that TENTH GRADE BLEEDS is the strongest, darkest novel of the series to date. Yes, it’s still deliciously funny. But oh, the things that happen in this book! Vlad finds that there are far, far worse things than being a high school sophomore. Trust me, Eleventh Grade Burns can’t get here fast enough.
Happy Thursday, everyone! Go buy yourself and your loved ones some books!
