    Dragon*Con 2009!

Yes, Labor Day weekend approacheth…which means that Dragon*Con draws nigh! (I hope I typed that properly.) Here is my panel and signing schedule:

    Title: Dragon*Autograph
    Time: Fri 01:00 pm Location: M301 – M304 – Marriott (Length: 1)
(Yes, I get to do a signing before ANY of my panels. Ack. Have some pity on me and come by to visit.)

    Title: Women Warriors in YA
Time: Fri 08:30 pm Location: A707 – Marriott (Length: 1)
Description: Come explore the art of war where women fight as well as rule, and strong female role models are truly strong.
(Yeppers, I’m doing a YA panel! That’s because of HUNGER, coming out in fall 2010. Yowza!)

Title: Collaborating: Making It Work for You
Time: Sat 10:00 am Location: Manila / Singapore / Hong Kong – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: Collaborating can be a blessing or a disaster. What strategies will make collaborating work for you. Pitfalls to avoid vs partnerships that soar.
(In case you didn’t know, I’ve coauthored a book.)

    Title: Dragon*Reading: Jackie Kessler
Time: Sat 04:00 pm Location: Marietta – Hyatt (Length: 1)
(What should I read? Any suggestions?)

    Title: Fun With Demonology
Time: Sat 07:00 pm Location: Montreal / Vancouver – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: Demons in fiction – both as heroes and as villains.
(You mean demons **aren’t** usually fun?)

Title: Paranormal Romance and Urban Fantasy
Time: Sun 10:00 am Location: Montreal / Vancouver – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: Comparing and contrasting two similar but distinct genres.
(Ah, yes. God knows I have a bunch of things to say about this. I always do.)

Title: The Sacred & The Profane
Time: Sun 11:30 am Location: Montreal / Vancouver – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: A look at religion and spirituality in dark fantasy fiction.
(Considering that I have God as a quasi bad guy and Lucifer as an unsung hero in the Hell on Earth series, I guess I have some thoughts on this.)

Title: Son of Funny as Hell
Time: Sun 04:00 pm Location: Montreal / Vancouver – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: A look at humor in horror (or horror in humor).
    (What? Me funny?)

    Title: Working the Graveyard Shift
Time: Sun 08:30 pm Location: Montreal / Vancouver – Hyatt (Length: 1)
Description: A look at the various jobs available to supernatural investigators and creatures of the night.
    (Strippers, of course.)

    1. Ooooh, now I know exactly where to be in order to heckle you properly.

    2. Jackie, it will be great to see you, and work with you once again.

For the reading, how about the Lilith story? Or something from Black and White? Or, one of Jezzie’s return trips to Hell?

    3. Hi Jackie! I so wished I could go! Some day I will!

Just wanted you to know that I bought HOTTER THAN HELL yesterday! Shame on me reading out of order sneaking in the story from the Valentine’s Anthology. So I was thinking about that yesterday in Borders and BN! Love this series.

Have fun and looking forward to hearing about how the conference went!
