    Interview, Contests and Updates

First: The Fall 2009 issue of the Quarterly Journal of Superhuman Fiction — #10 — is now online! Check it out at http://www.thousand-faces.com. Why? Among other things, Issue #10 includes “A Thousand Questions for Jackie Kessler!” And hey, you have a chance to win an autographed copy of BLACK AND WHITE: Simply mention A Thousand Faces on your own blog/website/Facebook/wherever and send the editor the link at fbyrns@thousand-faces.com. The editor will then take all of the entries, place them all inside his Thor helmet, and pick a winner. Easy enough, right? So get cracking! Send him those links! And, in his words: “Win some excellent (and FREE!) superhero fiction!”

Second: I am today’s guest blogger at The Book Smugglers! Find out what some of my favorite reads were for 2009, what’s coming out from me in 2010, and have a chance to win a copy of BLACK AND WHITE!

Third: Updates! (You know, for those of you keeping track.)

SHADES OF GRAY is back with Caitlin; we’re well on our way of getting the (God-willing) final copy to our editor by 12/14.

The SEKRIT PROJECT is rolling along very well! I love it. The editor loves it. Life is good.

RAGE is slow-going, but very powerful. I’ve begun chapter five.

I haven’t started either of the two new anthology short stories. For those of you who read the Hell books…who would you like to see as the hero and heroine for the MAMMOTH BOOK OF HOT ROMANCE tale?

I promise, promise, promise that I will get to the PO today to mail out some very delayed prizes. If I owe you a prize and you haven’t heard from me, please email me.

And I hope to see some of you at the Oakdale Mall in upstate NY this Saturday, for Waldenbook’s Last Hurrah event! Noon to four. Be there!
